The ARCHIMEDIA 2026 series of events drew to a close in Milan, at the Cittadella degli Archivi, with a presentation by our CEO, Massimo Luise. Spanning 16 events between February and June, and curated by archaeologist Alice Poletto, the series explored the connection between technology and humanism. Makros, which was also a sponsor of the event, presented details of BacteriaBlockfire, a containment and preservation system offering dual protection against both flames and bacteria. During International Archives Week, the aim was to celebrate the creation of a collaborative ecosystem between archives, libraries and museums.
